Bill is the Project Director and the tenor voice in the group. He has been has been positive since 1993, and has worked as an activist on behalf of people living with HIV/AIDS, in HIV prevention education and in community advocacy and organizing for since 1995. Bill moved to Baltimore in 1995 where he became active with the People with AIDS/HIV Coalition of Baltimore, where he served terms as a Member at Large, Vice-President and President. He also served in several capacities on the CPCRA Community Advisory Board of Baltimore TRIALS Inc., including as its CAB Liaison, as well as a member and officer on the boards of a number of community organizations, including the Baltimore Activists Coalition and the Maryland Fairness Coalition. Bill has a great deal of experience with production of musicals and other artistic media, both as a soloist and in ensembles, and has sung in a number of religious and community choirs. Today, along with his work with Positive Voices, Bill works with several community groups, including serving as a member of the Community Advisory Board of the Institute of Human Virology, and as a representative to the Interfaith Fairness Coalition of Maryland. Bill enjoys gardening, reading, online political games and is a life-long animal lover. |
